Independently manage a portfolio of retail and traditional clients, including supermarkets, hypermarkets, and convenience stores.
Develop the business across various categories, with a primary focus on our international flagship brand Biscoff (Biscuits and Sweet Spreads).
Collaborate periodically with the Country Manager Spain & Portugal and the Sales Manager Portugal to review KPIs and the progress of commercial strategy execution and development.
Work closely with the Sales Manager Portugal to define channel and customer strategies.
Assist in building top-selling stores for the brand in Portugal, leveraging local opportunities and best practices from countries like Spain, UK, France, and Germany.
Gather and analyze customer insights to strengthen relationships, increase product listings, and enhance in-store visibility.
Coordinate with external sales representatives to ensure excellent in-store execution.
Provide administrative support to functions such as Customer Service, Logistics, and Credit & Collection.
Support other top national clients operationally and administratively, contributing to the overall team success.
Key Result Areas
- Develop annual customer plans aligned with brand and channel strategies in collaboration with the Sales Manager Portugal.
- Manage relationships at all levels, both commercial and non-commercial.
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations based on customer business plans.
- Create and update volume and expenditure forecasts throughout the year.
- Negotiate pricing, assortment, and promotions within Lotus guidelines to maximize sales and profit.
- Analyze sales data and monitor promotional activities to generate insights.
- Ensure excellent execution for assigned customers.
Profile
- Master's degree in Marketing, Business, Economics, or related fields.
- At least 3 years of relevant Key Account Management experience.
- Experience in Category Management, Revenue Management, or Field Execution is valued.
- Fluent in English and Spanish.
- Strong relationship-building skills and customer network.
- Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Entrepreneurial, enthusiastic, and energetic personality.
- High stress tolerance and ability to manage multiple tasks in a small team.
- Results-driven with a proactive attitude.
