As a Logistics Planner, you will be responsible for managing human resources in production, monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) and reporting, and improving production processes to enhance quality, speed, and safety.
1. Production Process Optimization: Conduct in-depth analysis and implement improvements in production processes to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and support continuous operational improvement.
2. Cross-Functional implementation of product changes: Collaborate with Production, Purchasing, Logistics, Development, and Quality teams to successfully integrate product changes into serial production, ensuring minimal disruption and high-quality outcomes.
3. Performance-Driven Project Management: Lead projects focused on boosting production performance across quality, cost, and delivery metrics—often leveraging digital tools and automation to drive measurable results.
4. Shop Floor Leadership: Oversee daily operations in a designated production area through active shop floor management, fostering team alignment and real-time problem solving.
5. Data Management: Maintain and update critical production-related master data in SAP to ensure data accuracy and support process stability.
6. Technical Documentation & Planning: Develop and revise work plans, bills of materials (BOMs), assembly instructions, and standard operating procedures to support efficient and standardized production workflows.
7. Educational Requirements: University degree with a technical focus (electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, production engineering, industrial engineering or similar).
8. Work Experience: Initial professional experience in the improvement of production processes.
9. Technical Skills: Knowledge of project management, lean production and Six Sigma.
10. Language Skills: Good written and spoken Portuguese and English skills.
