Strategic Development Manager Job
As a key member of our Global Practices Operations Team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our firm's strategic direction across 20 industry and functional business units.
In this exciting role, you will work closely with the Chief Operating Officer (COO), Strategic Development Senior Director, and Senior Manager to drive strategic planning, operational enhancements, and financial oversight.
This position offers broad exposure to cross–Practice Area operations, placing you at the center of high-impact initiatives that shape our global strategy. You will apply financial expertise, data-driven insights, automation, and strategic problem-solving to optimize operational efficiency, create transparency, and drive business outcomes.
* Define, refine, and report on key operational and financial metrics to guide strategic planning, investment, and sustainability efforts.
* Improve performance tracking and operational efficiency using data-driven insights and develop high-quality dashboards for ongoing business updates.
* Apply analytical methodologies to generate actionable insights for Practice Areas and senior leadership; deliver ad-hoc analysis in support of strategic initiatives.
* Develop tools to automate and improve operational workflows for Practice Areas, including leveraging GenAI, driving efficiency, and scalability.
* Partner with PA Finance to ensure financial processes are aligned, accurate, and efficient.
* Support project and PA teams by training them on advanced analytics tools, workflow automation, and best practices.
* Build strong relationships and establish credibility as a trusted analytics and technical thought partner across central Practice Area teams.
Key Qualifications
* Bachelor's or master's degree in business mathematics, economics, statistics, data science, or a related field.
* 4–7 years of experience in consulting, strategy & operations, business intelligence, or data & analytics.
* Proven ability to multitask and operate effectively in a matrixed, high-paced environment.
* Experience in financial modeling, budgeting, and strategic planning.
* Strong proficiency in data cleansing, transformation, and modeling using Python or R.
* Proficiency in building, troubleshooting, and optimizing automated workflows using Microsoft Power Automate or similar tools.
* Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
