Job Description:
We are seeking a highly experienced financial leader to oversee our group's fiscal operations and ensure compliance across all entities. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional leadership skills, strong communication abilities, and in-depth knowledge of accounting principles.
* The successful candidate will lead the finance team at the group level, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting, as well as compliance with all regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
* Drive the entire financial consolidation process, partnering with the head of controlling and business transformation to ensure the integrity and timeliness of all group financial statements.
* Oversee the annual audit process, acting as the main point of contact and liaison for all external auditors.
* Partner with the CEO and executive team to drive the overall business strategy, assessing the financial feasibility and risk profile of new ventures, market entries, and expansion plans.
* Develop and implement robust internal control systems, policies, and procedures to safeguard company assets and ensure regulatory adherence across all jurisdictions.
* Lead, mentor, and develop the global finance and accounting team, fostering a culture of high performance, accountability, and continuous improvement.
* Oversee the entire accounting function (AR, AP, GL), ensuring accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual closes.
* Lead all financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting cycles, providing quality management accounts, variance analysis, and actionable insights to the executive team.
* Manage the company's capital structure, banking relationships, and treasury functions, optimizing cash flow and ensuring adequate liquidity for operations and strategic investments.
* Coordinate with external tax advisors to ensure compliance with all national and international tax obligations.
* Own the company's compliance with all debt covenants, financial requirements, and reporting requirements.
Requirements:
* Candidates should have a strong foundational background in accounting, preferably with an ACA/CPA/ACCA qualification and several years of experience gained at a Big Four or reputable audit firm.
* Possesses a proven track record in growth technology, SaaS, or B2B business, preferably in a PE/VC-backed environment.
* Demonstrated experience managing the finance function for a entity/international group structure, with proficiency in consolidation, intercompany transaction elimination, and currency reporting.
* Deep, practical knowledge of IFRS and ability to apply complex accounting standards.
* Demonstrated experience in successfully executing M&A transactions and leading debt/equity fundraising processes.
* Exceptional leadership, communication, and presentation skills for executive and Board-level reporting.
