You will be representing the Electrical Commissioning Group on worldwide project assignments. By commissioning the Siemens Energy scope on large scale projects, world class and low emission Power Plants, Grid Stabilizing Systems, Battery Energy Storage Systems you actively contribute to the energy transition. Your contribution is of utmost importance to ensure trouble-free operation of electrical equipment supplied by Siemens Energy. In a multinational team on site, you will commission individual components or entire systems and ensure quality of our services. Feedback of on-site experience to the engineering teams ensures that our products are subject to continuous improvement.
How You'll Make an Impact
4. Hands-on commissioning of electrical components and systems such as, transformers, high/low voltage and DC systems, protection systems, frequency converters and excitation equipment.
5. Carrying out initial or repeat tests on electrical protection and control systems, as well as system optimization and troubleshooting.
6. Commissioning of electrical control systems with associated HMI.
What You Bring
7. Degree in Electrical Engineering (BSc or MSc) or equivalent experience in a related field, preferably with a focus on power engineering.
8. Electrically skilled person according to EN 50110 standards.
9. 3- to 5-year experience in commissioning high voltage/low voltage/DC systems or electrical protection systems (, SIPROTEC) is preferred.
10. Proficient in MS Office applications.
11. Willingness to participate in international assignments lasting 2 to 12 months.
12. Strong leadership skills, adaptability, and a teammate attitude with a quality-oriented approach.
