What will you be doing?
* Deeply understand customer and business needs — beyond stated requirements — and translate them into valuable, feasible product evolutions.
* Facilitate workshops and interviews with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and clarify business requirements.
* Translate requirements into conceptual models (e.g., use case diagrams, activity diagrams, information models) aligned with the existing application architecture.
* Collaborate with other product team members to refine requirements into user stories, estimate effort, and ensure sprint delivery.
* Support end users during UAT, conduct demo sessions, deliver training, and provide clear documentation.
* Manage production issues and suggest functional and process improvements.
* Contribute to continuous knowledge sharing and process improvement within the team.
* Actively participate in Agile ceremonies: backlog refinement, sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups.
What are we looking for?
* Fluency in Portuguese and English.
* Experience working on Portuguese projects for a significant period — mandatory.
* Strong soft skills – confident communicators who can present themselves effectively.
* Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to simplify complex challenges.
* Solid experience in functional/business analysis and Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, SAFe, LeSS).
* Proficiency in process modeling and documentation tools such as UML, BPMN, Sparx EA, Confluence, Draw.io, Miro.
* Hands-on experience with backlog/sprint management tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps.
* Good knowledge of relational databases and ability to write simple SQL queries.
* Residency in Portugal – Citizenship or Work Visa / Residence Card (eliminatory factor).
