Role Overview As an IT Platform / Cloud Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, deploying and managing modern infrastructure platforms, with a strong focus on automation, scalability, security and operational efficiency across cloud and hybrid environments. Key Responsibilities
Platform Engineering: Design, deploy and manage robust infrastructure solutions primarily on AWS and Nutanix, ensuring high availability, scalability and security
Automation & Scripting: Develop and implement REST APIs, automation workflows and configuration management scripts to streamline infrastructure deployment and operations
Infrastructure Optimization: Modernize legacy systems to improve cloud performance, optimize resource usage and ensure cost-efficient operations
Collaboration: Work closely with agile cross-functional teams, including IT service delivery, data analytics and integration teams, to build a cohesive and secure IT ecosystem
Documentation & Best Practices: Document configurations, standards and best practices to ensure consistency, reliability and compliance across the infrastructure Requirements
Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Platform Engineer, Infrastructure Automation Specialist or DevOps Engineer
Strong experience with scripting and/or programming languages for infrastructure automation (e.g. Python, Bash, PowerShell, Ansible, Rundeck)
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (e.g. Terraform, CloudFormation)
Knowledge and hands-on experience with hybrid cloud services (e.g. AWS EC2, RDS, ECS, ELB, Lambda and Nutanix)
Experience with containerization technologies is a strong plus (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes)
Familiarity with Git and management of CI/CD pipelines
Experience with Linux system administration is a strong plus
Proactive mindset with an interest in exploring new technologies and implementing forward-thinking solutions
Fluent English and Portuguese (minimum C1) Location
