Following Mitsubishi Fuso Truck & Bus Corporation's spin-off from its parent company, Daimler Truck, and the planned integration with Hino Motors, more than 50 new permanent positions have opened in Portugal. This role is based in Tramagal (Abrantes) and offered under a local contract with Mitsubishi Fuso Truck Europe. The position involves managing and ensuring the accuracy of all documentation related to international shipments, ensuring compliance with customs regulations, and facilitating smooth cross-border logistics operations. The successful candidate will work closely with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and government agencies to ensure timely clearance of goods, while collaborating with logistics, procurement, and finance teams to maintain accurate documentation flow. What You Will Do Prepare, review, and process all required billing and customs documentation for shipments. Ensure compliance with international trade laws, customs regulations, and company policies. Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and government agencies for timely clearance. Maintain accurate records of all customs documentation and transactions. Monitor shipment status and resolve any customs-related delays or issues. Your Skills Bachelor's degree in International Trade, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field. At least 2 years of experience in customs documentation or international logistics. Strong knowledge of customs regulations, Incoterms, and international shipping procedures. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with ERP or trade compliance systems like SAP. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
