The Role
Our Risk team is central to Revolut, monitoring performance across functions, products, and regions to ensure business safety. We seek a Risk Manager to identify, quantify, and manage our capital risk, acting as a second line of defense to oversee risk and controls in first-line teams. You will collaborate with Treasury, Finance, Operations, Technology, and Risk teams to assess and oversee risk activities.
Responsibilities
1. Set standards for managing capital risk, including risk appetite and regulatory impact assessments.
2. Prepare local ICAAP and Recovery plans.
3. Develop and maintain risk management policies, procedures, limits, stress testing, analytics, systems, and reporting infrastructure.
4. Engage with first-line businesses to identify and monitor emerging capital risks, including new product assessments.
5. Monitor capital risk exposures against limits, investigate risk events, produce MI reports, and escalate breaches.
6. Identify key financial and non-financial risks requiring capital allocation.
7. Build and enhance financial models for capital planning and forecasting.
8. Propose and manage capital allocation limits and approval processes.
9. Build relationships with senior stakeholders to enforce risk frameworks and identify emerging risks.
Requirements
1. 5+ years experience in capital risk management or consulting within financial services.
2. Knowledge of capital risk regulations, ICAAP, and Recovery Planning.
3. Understanding of global financial markets, products, and risk drivers.
4. Knowledge of risk regulations and their banking industry impact.
5. Expertise in stress testing methodologies, model development, and governance.
6. Strong data analysis skills and problem-solving ability.
7. Ability to work independently, exercise judgment, and drive change.
8. Excellent interpersonal skills.

* Experience with SQL or scripting languages.
