The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Document Controller to join a multinational company operating in the engineering, construction, and project management sector. You will be part of a dynamic environment delivering large-scale, multidisciplinary projects that follow the highest international standards.
Your New Role
As a Document Controller, you will be responsible for maintaining the full document control system, ensuring that all project documentation is well-organized, secure, compliant, and accessible. You will support project managers, engineering teams, suppliers, and contractors, ensuring efficient document workflows throughout all project phases.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Establishing and maintaining the Master Library for all project documents;
- Creating and managing electronic and physical filing systems in accordance with international standards;
- Maintaining registers for incoming and outgoing documentation;
- Applying document control principles across engineering, supplier, and contractor documents;
- Retrieving and providing electronic or hard-copy technical documentation as required;
- Supporting the project close-out phase, including document cataloguing, packing, archiving, or disposal;
- Monitoring archived materials (time, location, and volume) together with the Facilities team;
- Ensuring confidentiality and security of project-related information;
- Meeting daily, weekly, and monthly deadlines;
- Contributing to continuous improvement of document processes and tools;
- Ensuring effective communication across teams and project stakeholders;
- Supporting colleagues' development and maintaining a client-focused approach;
- Performing additional duties as required.
What You'll Need to Succeed:
- Minimum of 8 years' experience in document control roles;
- Fluency in English (mandatory);
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
- Strong organizational and analytical abilities;
- Ability to provide timely, reliable, and professional support;
- Solid knowledge of document management standards.
