The Role: Senior Java Developer (AWS & CI/CD)
Location: Lisbon
Work Model: 2 days onsite; 3 days remote from Portugal
Sector: Financial Services
️ Languages: English (B2 - C1) - French is a plus

Eligibility: Currently living in Portugal and be legally authorized to work there
Your Profile and our Stack
* Minimum 5+ years of professional experience in Java development
* Strong experience with Java (Spring Boot / Spring Framework) and backend application design
* Proven hands-on experience working with AWS cloud services (such as EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, or similar)
* Experience implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar platforms
* Solid understanding of microservices architecture and RESTful API development
* Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes is considered a plus
* Familiarity with version control systems such as Git
* Knowledge of Agile development methodologies (Scrum or Kanban)
️ What You Will Be Doing (Concrete responsibilities)
* Design, develop, and maintain high-performance Java-based applications and services
* Build and optimize cloud-native solutions using AWS infrastructure
* Implement and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines to support automated testing and deployment
* Collaborate with architects, DevOps engineers, and other developers to ensure scalable and reliable system design
* Participate in code reviews, testing strategies, and continuous improvement initiatives
* Contribute to the evolution of microservices architecture and system integration
* Monitor system performance and propose technical improvements and optimizations
* Ensure applications follow security, quality, and best development practices
