How You'll Make an Impact
1. Lead cost management for major construction projects, from initial estimation to final delivery, ensuring compliance with Siemens Energy standards.
2. Develop project cost estimates, support budgeting, and manage costs to keep projects within agreed budgets.
3. Assess the cost impact of project risks and support change management and claims processes.
4. Prepare and present regular status reports on project budgets, committed spend, and forecasts, keeping cost data up to date.
5. Collaborate with the Digital Acceleration team to implement digital tools for cost management and reporting.
6. Share best practices and lessons learned to drive continuous improvement in cost management across future projects.
In addition to these core responsibilities, you'll also support sustainability initiatives, contribute to innovation, and provide cost management expertise to the Real Estate (RE) community.
What You Bring
7. 3–5 years' hands on Quantity Surveyor experience in cost management for construction projects of industrial facilities, ideally in international and multicultural environments.
8. Strong knowledge of feasibility estimating, pre-tender estimating, cost planning & reporting, tender management, value engineering, benchmarking, and claims management.
9. Proven ability to implement and maintain high-quality cost management processes.
10. Experience supporting budgeting, financial reporting, and resource allocation for large-scale projects.
11. Advanced skills in using digital cost management tools and reporting systems.
12. Master's degree or equivalent in construction engineering, civil engineering, MEP engineering, architecture, MRICS member.
