Senior Associate Business Analyst DTI
About the team:
Our Global Commercial and Operation DTI (Digital, Technology & Innovation) team is based at Amgen Capability Center in Lisbon, Portugal (ACCP). It comprises over 300 multi-national employees across various functions including DTI, Commercial, R&D, and Administrative areas. Our team focuses on implementing and supporting regional and global projects to enhance Amgen's business capabilities and processes. We operate as part of the ELMAC Commercial GDNA (Global Data & Analytics) using an agile methodology within a SAFe framework, organized via a DevOps model.

What You Will Do:
The Senior Associate Business Analyst DTI acts as a strategic partner to the commercial business teams, translating business needs into technical solutions with the development team. Using agile methodologies, you will design and develop new functionalities and applications, lead system improvements, support analysis and validation, and assist in steady-state operations. You will participate in sprint planning, manage operational requests, support support issues, and contribute to data integration and system documentation.
What We Expect Of You:
You should have strong analytical skills, experience developing and maintaining data services, and the ability to synthesize data from multiple sources to create reports and dashboards. You will collaborate with various commercial teams to enable innovative data and analytics solutions.
Technical Skills:
* Experience with ETL tools, preferably cloud-based like Informatica or Databricks
* Knowledge of Redshift or similar cloud databases
* Experience with S3 or equivalent storage systems
* Familiarity with AWS or similar cloud platforms
Required Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Analytics, or related field
* 2-3 years of experience as a Business or Data Analyst
* Excellent English communication skills
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and understanding of business complexity
* Experience working in a DevOps and Agile environment
* Ability to work collaboratively, meet deadlines, and take ownership
* Willingness to learn new technologies
