We are looking for a Cobol Developer for challenging project for an internacional Bank.Main Tasks:Monitor Production batches and infra components.Ensure batch related issues are attended and resolved on timeEscalate timely to Head of APS on possible risks, escalation matters and management issuesAdhere to Service Level objective target and roadmap.Review and create application Support knowledge articles.Ensuring that all production deliverables are aligned with bank standards and best practices.Identify and propose automation wherever possible to improve system availability, productivity, and performance.Technical Skills:AS400 and Unix troubleshooting skillsStrong knowledge on SQL queries, data analysisFamiliar with Production support tools like ServiceNow and JIRA is a plusCore Banking (Olympic / Transact / others)ITIL Qualification & Experience:At least 3+ years of support experience on AS400 technologies (DB*****, CL/400, SQL/400, RPG & RPGLE, COBOL/400)Good technical knowledge on AS400 Subsystem, Job Description, Job Queue, Job Logs, Journal, Objects, etcGood knowledge of CL/400 and OS/400 commandsKnowledge on SQL/400 and other AS400 utilitiesKnowledge on any Job Scheduling systemBasic understanding of BRMS (backup, recovery and media services)Experience on AS400 RPGLE and COBOL/400 development By applying, you accept our GDPR policies.
