Beyond mobile, we have an experienced XR team working for almost a year on a groundbreaking project, and we are now looking for a Technical XR Game Producer to help us bring it to market.
Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position for a Technical XR Game Producer, located in Odivelas, Lisbon .
You will take ownership of the project's production, combining technical know-how with project management skills. This role requires both leadership and hands-on contributions: from managing sprints and organising tasks to actively contributing in Unity and ensuring a smooth publishing process on XR platforms (especially Meta Quest ).
The ideal candidate is someone who can get things done, make informed decisions under pressure, and ensure our XR title is delivered with quality and on time.
Key Responsibilities
* Project Management & Scrum
* Lead sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
* Clearly define, prioritise, and assign tasks (using Asana).
* Ensure milestones and deadlines are consistently met.
* Technical Involvement
* Actively contribute to Unity development (C#).
* Debug, review, and optimize the codebase.
* Manage version control and CI/CD pipelines.
* Publishing & Deployment
* Oversee the full publishing process for XR platforms, particularly Meta Quest.
* Ensure compliance with all platform and technical requirements.
* Leadership & Decision-Making
* Motivate and guide a multidisciplinary team of developers, designers, and QA.
* Quickly resolve technical and organizational bottlenecks.
* Balance quality, timeline, and scope when making decisions.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in producing and publishing at least one shipped XR/MR title .
* 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience with Unity (C#) .
* Strong knowledge of XR development constraints and best practices.
* Experience managing projects with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
* Previous publishing experience on the Meta Quest Store .
Preferred Skills
* Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
* Strong leadership and problem-solving mindset.
* Fluent English (written and spoken).
* Familiarity with Asana .
* Knowledge of game analytics and integrating user feedback.
* Experience with multiplayer or social XR features is a plus.
