SCADA Technical Support
Vestas' Regional Support is responsible for overseeing, implementing and managing SCADA systems.
The department collaborates with internal stakeholders and Vestas clients within Vestas MED, providing state-of-the-art leading technology in monitoring, control and data acquisition systems for the wind technology sector.
Responsibilities:
* Level 1 support for SCADA and IT systems in windfarms
* Platform troubleshooting, server hardware and software
* Provide remote support to service technicians in on-site operations
* Provide and keep updated internal ticketing tools
* Technical documentation
Qualifications:
* Technical education in IT, Electronics or similar
* Experience in server operating systems, Linux and SQL servers
* Experience in VMware
* Knowledge and experience of networking and their configuration
* PLC programming and communication protocols (IEC, MODBUS, DNP, OPC) are a plus
* Comprehensive English skills, both verbal and written
* Valid driver's license
