We are seeking an experienced Application Support Engineer to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Effectively manage and resolve production incidents.
* Coordinate changes and technical operations.
* Participate in change management, collaborating with development, sysadmin, DBA and networking teams.
* Maintain accurate documentation of application components and operations.
* Manage backup data and perform regular restoring tests.
* Monitor applications and infrastructure, adhering to established SLAs.
* Control load capacity for applications.
* Contribute to the automation and improvement of existing procedures.
* Collaborate with development teams on defining new application architecture, aligned with infrastructure standards.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Minimum 6 years of experience in similar roles.
* Proficiency in both Linux and Windows environments.
* Experience with VTOM or other industrial schedulers.
* Knowledge of scripting languages (Shell, Python and/or PowerShell).
* Experience with JBoss, TomCat, Apache or IIS.
* Experience with databases (Oracle, Sybase, SQL Server and/or MySQL).
* Experience with infrastructure backups.
* Experience with monitoring tools (ideally Zabbix or Grafana).
* Knowledge of LDAP, Firewall, Reverse proxy, Active Directory and Kerberos.
* Excellent English communication skills - minimum B2 level.
