Positions:
IT Recruiter (People Manager)
As an IT Recruiter at Velv, you will be responsible for helping to build our IT consulting team for the Portuguese market. You will lead the recruitment process, attract top IT talent, and provide continuous support and career guidance to consultants to ensure engagement and performance.
Business Manager
As a Business Manager at Velv, you will be responsible for developing and growing our IT consulting business in the Portuguese market. You will be responsible for recruiting talent to our projects, lead commercial prospection activities, build and manage strong client relationships, identify new business opportunities, and act as a key point of contact between clients and consultants to ensure successful project delivery and long-term partnerships.
Location: Hybrid - Lisbon (Portugal-based)
Key Responsibilities
Lead full life-cycle recruitment for IT roles, from sourcing to onboarding.
Conduct structured interviews and assess candidate fit for technical and cultural requirements.
Maintain strong knowledge of software development roles and technologies to better evaluate candidates.
Use recruiting tools and platforms to optimise sourcing and selection.
Develop and execute employer branding initiatives to attract top talent in Portugal.
Manage and support a team of IT consultants, providing regular check-ins, career development guidance, and performance feedback.
Work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, adapting strategies to meet hiring needs.
Requirements
Minimum 2 years experience in full life-cycle IT recruitment.
Experience in the IT industry or knowledge of software development technologies (preferred).
Strongly goal-oriented and comfortable working in a fast-paced business environment.
Proactive, innovative, and results-driven mindset.
Proficiency in recruiting software/tools.
Fluent English and Portuguese.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
