The Opportunity
We're looking for a
systems-oriented Project Manager
who will grow into our
Operations Manager
within ~12 months. Your mission is to build the company's
operating system
—simple, reliable processes with clear owners and SLAs, lightweight automations, and dashboards/alerts—so we hit customer promises with
less issues and lower costs.
How you'll do it (simple cycle):
Own one process at a time
(starting with Customer Support).
Find the friction:
slow responses, escalations, stuck handoffs, avoidable rework.
Redesign the flow:
fewer steps, clear owners & SLAs, standard work.
Launch & enable:
onboarding, checklists/templates, the right tooling and coverage.
Measure weekly & correct drift:
small dashboard, alerts, quick fixes.
Move on:
Once it's on target for ~30 days
and being perfectly executed by the responsible person
, you keep the "accountable role" and tackle the next process.
As you repeat this cycle and
hit targets
, your scope expands across
replenishment, returns, listings, supply chain, and vendors
—leading to
running weekly business reviews
and the full operation. You'll work
directly with the founder
with real
autonomy, budget, and tools
to make meaningful improvements.
Day-to-Day
Map workflows, set KPIs, and design improvements.
Implement durable
systems and controls
(clear SLAs/owners, dashboards & alerts, automated handoffs, audit cadence) and ensure documentation and training happen with the team; you steward quality, change control, and adoption.
Lead sprints, stand-ups, weekly reviews, retros, and
Go / No-Go
checkpoints.
Turn data into action.
Hire, onboard, and schedule new freelancers/collaborators.
Coordinate with marketing, finance, 3PLs & suppliers; negotiate and monitor SLAs.
Keep Asana healthy—no broken systems, stranded tasks or forever-overdue.
What You Bring:
Must-Haves
Operations mindset: stability, efficiency, systems thinking.
Workflow design: turn chaos into clear steps; guide others in SOP creation.
Data literacy: formulas, charts, and data-driven decisions.
Change management: training, enforcing SLAs, preventing process decay.
Quality & compliance: spot risks and define rollback plans.
Tooling:
Asana
(or
ClickUp/Monday
) admin—custom fields, rules, cross-functional projects.
Nice to Have
Amazon Seller Central experience (FBA, account management).
Basic P&L understanding (revenue, COGS, margin impact).
Process-mapping tools (Miro, Lucid).
