We're seeking a highly motivated Lab Technician with a background in proteins to join our product development team. In this hands-on role, you'll support lab operations, conduct experiments, and assist in pilot-scale processes for biomass treatment and protein extraction.
Key Responsibilities:
* Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs), improve protocols for efficiency/quality, and collect and manage data accurately.
* Prepare and analyze samples using techniques like gravimetry and spectrophotometry.
* Handle lab equipment (centrifuge, microscope, freeze-dryer) and maintain a clean workspace.
* Prepare reagents, buffers, and solutions.
* Conduct protein extraction, cell lysis, membrane filtration, and other product development tasks.
* Support pilot-scale biomass treatment and food ingredient production.
Requirements:
* Laboratory Analysis Technician certification or equivalent.
* 1+ years of experience in a scientific lab (Food Science, Chemistry, Pharmacy, Microbiology).
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
* Good communication skills in English.
* Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
