About Responsibilities
At KLx, you'll join our IT Operations Services unit supporting part of the infrastructure perimeter for our partner, Crédit Agricole Group Infrastructure Platform (CA-GIP).
Working in a cluster model, the team collaborates closely with KLx' s software development squads to ensure smooth integration and operational readiness.
We are looking for a Senior IT Operations Specialist to join our Z/OS Factory team.
In this role, you'll ensure the operational stability and performance of our mainframe environments, working closely with internal teams and external partners across the Crédit Agricole Group.
Your main responsibilities will be:
Operational Support & Supervision
Provide Level 2 support for Z/OS systems and batch applications
Define, schedule, and execute batch jobs using TWS and Control-M
Monitor real-time job execution and respond to incidents (abends, SLA breaches, dependency issues)
Daily Operations
Launch and control production jobs (Z/OS and Control-M)
Perform incident recovery and job restarts
Manage system resources (disk space, JES queues, GDG, datasets)
Oversee and troubleshoot file transfers
Continuous Improvement & Support
Provide technical support to application teams
Optimize batch chains and reduce processing times
Participate in production deployments and change management
Handle scheduled and ad-hoc interventions outside business hours (HNO)
Documentation & Reporting
Draft and maintain operational procedures and runbooks
Produce reports on job performance and system availability
Collaboration & Integration
Work closely with other Crédit Agricole entities
Coordinate with external partners and software vendors on data exchange flows
Act as a point of contact for the KLx team, ensuring smooth communication and issue escalation
Who You Are
Strong expertise in Z/OS system monitoring and batch processing
Proficiency in JCL, ISPF, SDSF, and TSO
Familiarity with CICS, DB2, IMS, and VSAM
Experience with Control-M, TWS, and CFT/Connect Express
Basic knowledge of DB2 (SQL, display commands, log analysis)
Comfortable with Linux/Windows terminal commands and scripting
Exposure to ITSM tools (ServiceNow) and monitoring platforms (Dynatrace)
Understanding of ITIL v4 and Agile methodologies
Experience with E-GEN or similar automation tools
Rigor, team spirit and strong communication skills
Proactive mindset and ability to escalate issues effectively
Strong reporting capabilities
Fluent in English, French is a good plus
