First Point Group is recruiting for a Solution Designer / Technical Business Analyst with 2-7 years of experience on behalf of a fast-growing technology services provider.
Only candidates that have recently worked for a telecommunication company / operator such as Vodafone / BT Group / Telefonica or B2B Software Provider into similar telecom companies as a customer will be considered. If you have previous experience working within Billing Systems / Telecoms or Digital Services then that is a massive bonus.

In this role, you'll be instrumental in shaping customer success by translating requirements into well-defined deliverables. You will act as a bridge between customers, Product, and Professional Services teams—defining scope, success criteria, and ensuring smooth delivery of customer-specific development initiatives. Following project completion, you'll support the handover to the Managed Services team for ongoing support.
Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with Product Owners and stakeholders to define high-level requirements, assess impacts, and ensure alignment of priorities and timelines.Lead and facilitate internal and external workshops to gather and document customer requirements.Create detailed documentation including diagrams and user stories, using tools such as JIRA to manage tasks and tracking.Own the creation and maintenance of Statements of Work (SOWs), translating business needs into clear deliverables that align with both client expectations and internal capabilities.Work closely with Development and QA teams to support project estimation and technical task breakdowns.Provide guidance during development cycles to ensure scope clarity and prioritisation.Support project delivery through regular team stand-ups, progress tracking, and stakeholder updates.Create and deliver presentations to showcase proposed solutions to both internal teams and customers.Ensure thorough handover to Managed Services and operational teams with training and documentation.Stay updated on product development to drive integration improvements and partnership optimisation.Continuously improve analysis and delivery practices to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.Promote agile methodologies and enforce SCRUM best practices.Provide post-implementation support and act as a key contact during warranty periods to ensure smooth transitions. Requirements:
2–5 years of experience in a customer-facing role within cross-functional, agile teams.Proven ability to manage stakeholders and customer expectations effectively.Skilled in building collaborative, trust-based relationships with senior business and technical stakeholders.Strong documentation and knowledge transfer capabilities across development, QA, and operations.Exceptional attention to detail, organisational skills, and adaptability in fast-paced environments.Experience with complex system landscapes involving multiple integrations.Confident communicator with facilitation skills and the ability to manage challenging client conversations.Self-starter who thrives both independently and as part of a team.Open to feedback and committed to continuous improvement.
