Mission Overview:
As a Sales Leadership professional, you will work alongside the Director of Sales to drive business success in the sales department. Your responsibilities will include overseeing bookings across various segments, leading a team of sales associates, and leveraging above-property sales channels to achieve revenue goals.
Key Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with the Director of Sales to develop effective segment strategies aligned with resort objectives.
* Drive proactive and reactive sales activities across luxury travel, groups & social events, wellness, sports, leisure sales, consortia, and TMCs.
* Partner with the Marriott Global Sales Organization (GSO) to generate new business through sales missions, roadshows, and hosted events.
* Identify and activate seasonal campaigns and on-brand promotions to stimulate demand.
* Manage an individual sales portfolio and meet personal revenue and conversion targets.
* Contribute to strategic pricing, rate loading, and promotions in partnership with Revenue Management.
* Develop booking goals and KPIs for the sales team and track performance.
* Analyze market data and trends to recommend new opportunities and account prioritization.
