Your new Role
The
Senior Solution Analyst WMS
will:
Act as a key link between business needs and WMS technology solutions, analyzing requirements and proposing improvements to drive operational efficiency;
Support the Solution Owner in end-to-end solution design, configuration, testing, and documentation across multiple systems and technologies;
Build strong knowledge of business processes and system interfaces, ensuring reusable designs and minimizing custom developments;
Translate business requirements into functional specifications, manage small-scale projects, and oversee third-party deliverables and testing;
Ensure solution quality through test execution and validation, while maintaining compliance and performance standards.
This role involves regular collaboration and design discussions with business process teams, IT staff, and all partner organizations contributing to the solution.
As a
Senior Solution Analyst WMS
you will be responsible for:
Business Requirements Analysis:
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and understand business requirements, translating them into functional specifications and solution designs
Solution Evaluation:
Assess existing systems, technologies, and processes to identify gaps and areas for improvement.
Conduct feasibility studies and recommend appropriate solutions to address business challenges
Inform the requestor of the cost and time estimate
Solution Design:
Develop comprehensive solution designs, considering both technical and business aspects.
Ensure alignment with organizational goals, standards, and best practices
System Integration:
Coordinate with development teams and vendors to ensure smooth integration of new solutions with existing systems.
Participate in system testing, troubleshooting, and issue resolution
Documentation:
Create detailed technical documentation, including system architecture, requirements specifications, user guides, and training materials
Stakeholder Collaboration:
Engage with business users, IT teams, and external stakeholders to gather feedback, address concerns, and ensure successful implementation and adoption of solutions
Project Management:
Participate in project planning and execution, including task estimation, resource allocation, progress tracking, and risk management
Continuous Improvement:
Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.
Proactively identify opportunities to enhance systems, streamline processes, and optimize business outcomes
Product lifecycle management (concepts through ongoing Run & Maintain):
Working together with the Solution Architect, the markets, and several internal and external technology teams in matrixed setup
What you will need to be suceed
To succeed as a
Senior Solution Analyst WMS
you will need:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience;
+3 years
of experience working within the
WMS
area (IT solution development disciplines, including architecture and application design/development);
Knowledge of
WMS solutions
(such as
Infor
);
Solid understanding of
Logistics and Supply Chain business processes
;
Ability to analyze complex requirements and translate them into technical solutions;
Familiarity with agile methodologies and ability to support agile teams;
Strong interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills;
Capable of working independently and managing multiple tasks;
Experience collaborating with developers and working in outsourced environments;
Excellent planning and organizational skills;
Experience working in multicultural teams and complex organizations;
Ability to work in a fast environment and to manage multiple priorities;
Excellent communication skills – Fluency in English.
