Graphic Designer role at VAVA EYEWEAR

Role Overview
VAVA is looking for an exceptional graphic designer to join the brand and marketing team. You will report to the Creative Director and support in the creation of graphic concepts across all VAVA projects. The ideal candidate will be a multidisciplinary designer working in a collaborative environment. They will participate in the creation and production of visual content and elevate visual identity for VAVA's digital, social, and retail communication channels – encompassing website, email, social, collection books, look-books and off-site marketing. The graphic designer will elevate the brand voice, creative storytelling, and expression across all brand marketing and define the visual identity of the brand.
Key Responsibilities
* Execute the final graphic designs for marketing campaigns and handle daily corporate and retail projects.
* Partner cross-functionally with brand strategy, merchandising, design, visual merchandising, and store operations to develop content strategies aligned with the brand vision.
* Prepare and coordinate basic layouts & templates for print advertising, newsletters, and web design on the VAVAEYEWEAR.COM site.
* Create print data and develop implementation approaches for digital channels (onsite desktop/mobile, social posts/ads, display banners).
* Manage seasonal campaigns with agencies and suppliers (elaboration, correction, cross-checking, release).
* Prepare layout concepts and design guidelines for 360° marketing campaigns across online and offline channels.
* Basic movie editing: cut-downs, format adaptations, text integration, GIF creation, and small animations.
* Design social media assets with a focus on Instagram and Facebook (organic and paid).
* Visualize the seasonal social content plan and ensure alignment with the marketing calendar.
* Assist in creating, distributing and managing seasonal campaign assets across global channels.
* Optimize content for social/digital across pre- and post-production (briefing videographers, cropping/editing third-party content).
* Collaborate with eCommerce and Marketing to create content for newsletters, advertising, website, etc.
* Design assets for marketing, PR, and brand materials (lookbooks, invitations, press packs, internal presentations).
* Adapt campaigns for urban advertising displays (billboards, street posters, in-store).
* Support Creative Director across content shoots, video shoots and e-commerce shoots.
Requirements
* A Bachelor's degree in graphic/communication design, art direction, or related field preferred.
* Relevant experience in graphic/communication design in a similar role, in-house or at an agency, or within a luxury brand.
* Strong portfolio with multi-channel campaigns (print, social, digital, etc.).
* Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, Premiere/Final Cut.
* Knowledge of tools such as VectorWorks, Cinema 4D, Figma is a plus.
* Ability to understand design concepts and align with brand vision and commercial objectives.
* Strong command of digital design, typography, and color; attention to brand guidelines.
* Understanding of UX/UI basics; front-end skills a plus.
* Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills; deadline-driven.
* Good verbal, visual, and written English.
* Ability to design packaging and store installations is a plus.
* Ability to concept design solutions with limited direction; highly creative and trend-aware.
* Experience with current luxury fashion industry trends.
* Ability to work across multiple projects with great attention to detail.
* Fluent in English (written and spoken); portfolio or link required to be considered.
