Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and grow strategic relationships with major OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers in the industrial and automotive sectors.
* Lead complex sales cycles from prospecting through negotiation and closing of high-value tooling projects.
* Identify and qualify new business opportunities, with a strong focus on long-term partnerships and customer satisfaction.
* Act as the primary liaison between clients and internal engineering, production, and project management teams.
* Develop strategic account plans aligned with client roadmaps and internal growth targets.
* Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitive intelligence to inform strategic decisions.
* Ensure strong customer engagement through regular site visits, technical consultations, and high-level presentations.
Candidate Profile:
* 10+ years of experience as a Key Account Manager in the plastic injection molding/tooling industry, with a strong background in automotive and industrial markets.
* Demonstrated success in securing €5-10M+ in annual project revenues.
* Strong existing network and relationships with OEMs, Tier 1 and Tier 2 suppliers in the sector.
* Fluent in English; German and Portuguese are highly desirable.
* Willingness to travel internationally 40%+ to meet with customers and attend industry events.
* Solid technical understanding of high-precision injection tooling and customer requirements.
* Skilled in CRM tools, sales reporting, and forecasting.
* A collaborative team player who thrives in cross-functional environments and is driven by results.
