Motherson SAS is looking for a Regional Industrial Engineer to join our team based in Palmela, Portugal!
Tasks
* Support RFQ's from the industrial engineering perspective with regards to feasibility, labor, tools & equipment investment
* Elaborate process & assembly process documentation based on customer info. (BOM; PDM; CAD data; assembly flow)
* Apply industrial engineering methods to determine labor requirements using MTM-UAS based on customer information.
* Layout planning in 2D (autocad) and 3D (Inventor).
* Issue industrial concept and present it internally and to customers.
* Provide data to perform cost analysis (investments and assembly time) and process alternatives.
* Build list of equipment required for the industrialization of new programs.
* Create tool and equipment specifications; request quotes to suppliers and assess offers received
* Interface for technical departments internal and with the customer
Profile
* Engineering degree (preferable mechanical or industrial)
* OEM Tier 1 or equipment supplier (3 to 5 years of exp.)
* Layout design experience in Autocad and Inventor
* MTM-UAS experience (certification would be appreciated)
* Simulation tools (Flexim experience is appreciated)
* Tightening processes and plastics process assembly experience would be appreciated
* Experienced in project work, analytical and hands-on approach
* Fluent in english, other language is a plus
* Open for business travelling
