Your New Role
Leverage industry standards, emerging methodologies, and empirical research to develop critical businesses insights and support innovative strategies.
Work on end-to-end data solutions: understand complex business challenges, design scientific approaches, and work with diverse datasets (internal and third-party).
Apply advanced machine learning and statistical modeling techniques to derive actionable insights.
Collaborate with data scientists, data engineers, and technical teams, including pricing and underwriting, to mature analytics practices.
Contribute to the broader data and analytics community, delivering value through a range of analytical techniques.
What You Need to Succeed
Experience in predictive and prescriptive analytics (predictive modeling, machine learning, data mining) to generate businesses insights and communicate findings effectively.
Proficiency in analytical tools/programming languages and databases (e.g., Python, R, SQL).
Familiarity with large language models and prompting; GCP experience is a plus.
Interest in various machine learning techniques, from linear models and random forests to deep learning.
Particular interest in NLP or computer vision.
Strong foundation in statistics.
Experience working independently and in small teams on analytics projects.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including effective presentation abilities—essential for stakeholder engagement.
Willingness to learn best practices in *software* development.
Knowledge of insurance is an advantage but not mandatory.
