Job Description As a key member of our electronics development team, you will design and validate high-performance hardware platforms that power Bosch's ADAS solutions.
You will design, test, and refine the core electronic systems that enable Bosch next-generation automotive applications in the advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS).
Your contribution to something big: Take responsibility: Drive the design, analysis, and validation of rugged and reliable electronic control units (ECUs).
Develop switch-mode power supplies (SMPS), high-precision analog front-ends for sensor interfaces, and high-speed digital circuits for MCU/SoC architectures.
You will be part of the entire design process from schematic capture to overseeing a structured PCB layout that adheres to strict signal and power integrity rules.
Using creativity and free space: Apply your technical expertise to optimize existing designs for performance, cost, and manufacturability.
Identify opportunities for technological improvements and contribute to solving complex mixed-signal and system-level challenges.
Optimized implementation: Balance performance, efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and reliability throughout product development.
Support the development of robust and secure automotive electronic systems ready for series production.
Engineering excellence: Execute projects using Bosch's development and lifecycle management processes—from concept phase to industrialization and series support.
Qualifications What distinguishes you: Education : M.Sc.
in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
Experience: 4+ years of experience in electronics hardware design, including analog and mixed-signal circuits; Hands-on experience with electronics lab equipment (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, power supplies) for bring-up, testing, and debugging; Experience selecting and integrating MCUs/SoCs and designing peripheral interfaces (SPI, I2C, UART, QSPI); Understanding of digital interface signal integrity and power integrity principles; Experience in embedded firmware development or Python scripting is a plus; Familiarity with automotive functional safety or security concepts is beneficial.
Know-how: Strong competence in SMPS design, sensor front-ends, digital high-speed circuits, PCB design rules, and system-level electronics architecture; Ability to apply simulation, calculation, and empirical testing to support design decisions.
Languages : Good written and verbal English skills.
Working Style and Methods: Structured, hands-on, and data-driven approach to problem-solving; Careful documentation habits ensuring clarity and traceability; Ability to manage responsibilities and deliver high-quality results within project timelines.
Personality: Curious, collaborative, and committed to continuous learning; Open to feedback and eager to contribute to shared team goals; Resilient mindset and willingness to challenge the status quo; Motivated and independent learner with passion for electronics.
