Role Summary:
The Technical Coordination Specialist plays a pivotal role in spearheading technical issue resolution, providing expert guidance and training to the team, supporting documentation creation, resolving technical issues, assisting with feature activation and testing, handling complex changes on transactional emails, managing cache cleaning and reindexing, offering SEO technical support, piloting new activities, and proposing process/technical improvements.
* Coordinating the resolution of technical issues between the Webmastering Team and support teams, including follow-ups and communication
* Providing expert guidance and technical training to the IBS Webmastering team on current and future activities
* Assisting the tech team/agencies in updating and creating documentation and guidelines for Webmasters
* Resolving technical issues that can be solved at the CMS level and collaborating with tech agencies to implement code-related solutions through ticketing coordination
* Supporting the implementation and testing of features such as Omni Content Form, Product Feed, and Loqate, including engaging with third-party tech support and conducting testing activities
* Handling complex changes on transactional emails, such as modifying variables in Order Confirmation emails
* Performing complex cache cleaning and reindexing tasks
* Offering complex SEO technical support, including updating and modifying sitemaps, canonicalization, and other URL redirects
* Collaborating with agencies to pilot new activities/features, providing feedback, and creating necessary documentation
* Proposing process and technical improvements for current operations
* Proficiency in resolving technical issues and implementing code-related solutions
* Ability to provide expert guidance and technical training to a team
* Experience in updating and creating documentation and guidelines for Webmasters
* Knowledge of feature implementation and testing processes
* Familiarity with complex changes on transactional emails
* Proficiency in cache cleaning and reindexing
* Understanding of SEO technical support, including sitemap updates and URL redirects
* Ability to cooperate with 3rd party vendors for website integrations
* Experience in piloting new activities and providing feedback
* Capability to propose process and technical improvements for current operations
* Strong communication skills: Effective communication, both verbal and written, is crucial for coordinating with teams, providing guidance, and documenting processes
