As a Senior Payroll Specialist, you will support the full payroll cycle for an international organization. This role requires strong knowledge of payroll legislation, calculations and end-to-end processes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Running the monthly payroll cycle using SAP
* Validating payroll results, identifying inconsistencies and ensuring accurate payslips
* Processing payroll inputs: absences, overtime, bonuses, deductions, terminations, leave etc.
* Maintaining legal compliance and supporting statutory reporting
* Preparing payroll files, reconciliations and reports for finance teams
* Supporting employees with payroll-related queries and resolving issues in a timely manner
* Collaborating with HR, Finance and external stakeholders when necessary
Requirements:
* At least 5 years of experience running payroll (Portuguese or international)
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Fluent in English language
* Based in Portugal and available to work remotely
