Quadranteis looking to strengthen its Transport Infrastructures Business Unit by recruiting aTrainee Civil Engineerfor the Roads and Railways department, based at our Lisbon office. With both national and international projects of varying scales and typologies, Quadrante offers a unique professional experience in the Portuguese engineering market. ResponsibilitiesSupport the development of Roads and Railways projects; Ensure compliance with project deadlines; Perform Roads and Railways calculations, including geometric design, earthworks and drainage, using specialized softwares; Ensure project compliance with national and international regulations, as well as sector-specific requirements; Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design optimized solutions; Support the preparation of technical reports, project summaries, BoQ's and design specifications. ProfileMaster's degree in Civil Engineering; Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and AutoCAD; familiarity with road and railway design software is a plus; interest in BIM solutions will be valued; Willingness to learn and adapt to different types of projects; Proactive attitude, curiosity, and motivation to develop technical skills; Good communication skills and team spirit; Attention to detail and problem-solving mindset; Fluency in English, both written and spoken (knowledge of other languages is a plus).
