SAP Finance Analyst Role

We are seeking a skilled SAP Finance Analyst to join us remotely (currently living in Portugal). The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of financial processes and experience working with SAP FI/CO modules.
Responsibilities
* Analyze and document financial processes to identify opportunities for optimization aligned with SAP FI/CO capabilities.
* Configure and support SAP FI/CO modules to enable accurate and efficient handling of general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, asset accounting, cost center accounting, and internal orders.
* Collaborate with stakeholders in finance, operations, and IT to gather business requirements and design effective financial solutions within SAP.
* Conduct system testing and prepare training materials and user documentation to ensure successful adoption of financial processes.
* Investigate and resolve SAP FI/CO functional and technical issues, ensuring timely resolution with minimal disruption to financial operations.
* Participate in SAP-related projects, including new implementations, system upgrades, and rollouts, with a focus on finance and controlling integration.
* Support integration between FI/CO and other SAP modules such as MM, SD, and PP to ensure seamless financial transactions and reporting.
* Manage financial master data including GL accounts, cost centers, profit centers, and asset master records.
Requirements
* Minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience with SAP FI/CO in ECC or S/4HANA environments.
* Strong understanding of core financial processes including general ledger, AP/AR, asset management, and financial close procedures.
* Experience with controlling processes such as cost center accounting, internal orders, and profitability analysis.
* Familiarity with integration points between FI/CO and other modules like MM (procurement), SD (billing), and PP (costing).
* Experience writing functional specifications for custom financial reports, interfaces, and enhancements.
* Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance and Fiori applications is a strong advantage.
* Knowledge of regulatory compliance, tax requirements, and audit support in a corporate or global environment is a plus.
* Fluency in English is required.
