IT Operations Specialist

Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure new software packages and upgrades are provisioned.
* Maintain infrastructure in operational condition as per OLA/SLAs.
* Monitor system performance against negotiated SLAs.
* Communicate improvement, updates, and obsolescence management of products to the IT Product Manager.
* Perform ITIL based support processes including incident, problem, change, configuration, and event management.
* Analyse console messages, diagnose system failures, and take corrective action to ensure continuity of operations, escalating to other technical teams and vendors as needed.
* Supervise system backup processing and lead disaster recovery tests. Identify and implement technologies and processes that improve the reliability, efficiency, and availability of the systems environment.
Requirements:
* Experience in IT service management with a focus on service design, transition, and operation.
* Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
* Familiarity with the ITIL framework and best practices.
* Experience in defining and managing service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs).
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
* Fluent English is mandatory.
