About the Role Own end-to-end product development—managing the critical path proactive supplier follow-up, and cross-functional coordination to deliver on quality, margin, and timelines.
Key Responsibilities Critical path ownership: Build, track, and enforce the calendar from concept proto -SMS/PP - TOP - bulk.
flag risks and drive recoveries.
Product engineering: Create and maintain tech packs, BOMs, specs, and grading in PLM.
Supplier management: Daily follow-up with mills/factories on samples, test reports, costs, and lead times.
negotiate MOQs where needed.
Cross-functional coordination: Align Design, Ops, QC, and E-com to unblock decisions and hit dates.
Costing & margin: Lead target costing and negotiations to meet margin goals.

Skills & Competencies Calendar discipline & project management Clear communication & stakeholder alignment Structured problem-solving Detail orientation & quality mindset Commercial acumen (costing, negotiation) Qualifications & Experience 5–8 years product development experience in home textiles/apparel (bedding, sleep, and/or loungewear preferred) Proficiency with PLM and Adobe Illustrator; strong Excel/Sheets skills Managing vendors and timelines across multiple regions (preferably Portugal)
