As a Microbiology Analyst, you will play a key role in maintaining the microbiological quality and compliance of pharmaceutical products, supporting the QC Microbiology laboratory through effective documentation, sampling, and testing practices.
Key Responsibilities:
* Responsible for conducting all kinds of microbiological analyses in the QC Microbiology lab.
* Perform microbiological sampling of water and air.
* Manage Quality Control documents, records, and consumables.
* Ensure the cleaning and sanitization of the microbiology laboratory and equipment according to approved SOPs.
* Maintain accurate records in accordance with site policies and procedures.
* Manage supplies and consumables inventory in the QC lab, including ERP system management.
* Assist in coordinating sample workflows with third-party laboratories.
* Support the investigation and documentation of deviations, incidents, and out-of-specifications/trends.
Qualifications:
* Education: Bachelor's degree in Microbiology, Biology, Life Sciences, or a related field.
* Experience: 1 to 3 years in a similar role within a regulated laboratory setting (e.g. pharmaceutical, food, cannabis, cosmetics industry) preferred.
* Knowledge: Understanding of SOPs, GLPs, HACCP, and GMPs applicable to quality, compliance, and production.
* Skills: Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and analytical thinking.
* Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
* Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Independence: Ability to work well independently and collaboratively within a team.
* Languages: Knowledge of English is mandatory.
