We are in constant transformation and looking for a self-motivated, proactive, and flexible Credit Analyst to join our Credit & Account Services team in Lisbon.
What does the Operations area do?
It provides service excellence in operations focusing on client needs.
We do this by ensuring best practices of execution on services related to Funds, Cash/Securities Management and Settlements, Payments, Reconciliation, and Control of Credit Operational Business, as well as Account Maintenance documentation.
What would be your key responsibilities?
Credit Processing (loans, SBLC, limits, and participation) in the Core system;
Preparation, analysis and submission of credit limits renewal and participation contracts for existing transactions;
Tradingand payments approval;
Credit documentation preparation, review and control;
Responsible for controlling past dues and overdraft aging;
Maintain and support core systems, report systems, data updates/invoices and workflows;
Supportand monitor the review of discrepancy report in the Core system;
Establish close partnerships with all other areas of the Bank, to ensure timely and flawless completion of all quality control for client data;
Supportthe development and maintenance of policies and procedures;
Performinvestigations to address inquiries from internal and external clients;
Supportnew system development projects/conversions;
Supportwith demands from Regulators and internal and external Auditors;
Weekly and monthly reporting and reviews;
Help toensure quality services and efficient operations support through strong attention to detail;
and
Compliance with BSA/AML laws, rules, regulations and the Bank's BSA/AML policies and procedures.
What are we looking for?
Availability to work night shift (14h – 23h) and/or rotative schedule;
University degree in Finance or related areas;
1 to 3 years proven experience in Banking;
Fluent in English;
Attention to details;
Team player with an open-minded approach towards other cultures and ability to work in an international team;
Proactive, self-driven and able to help enhance the system and workflow;
Able toperform in a high-paced environment within tight time frames;
Knowledge of banking rules and regulatory requirements;
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office: MS Excel, Power Point, Access and Word;
Abilityto perform tasks with e-signature services such as Adobe Sign;
Knowledge of credit function processing and credit cards is a plus;
Experience inPrivate Banking is a plus.
