Job Description
We are looking for aSenior Web Analystwith strong strategic thinking and hands-on technical expertise to manage and evolve our digital analytics ecosystem.
This role owns the end-to-end digital measurement framework, with a strong focus on theGoogle Marketing Platformand related technologies.
The ideal candidate brings a balanced mix of marketing and technical skills, ensuring GDPR-compliant data collection, enforcing best practices, and translating business needs into actionable insights.
Acting as a bridge between business, product, and engineering teams, this professional will play a key role in driving data-informed decision-making across the organization.
Responsibilities
Implement and maintain tracking codes, tags, and events usingGoogle Tag Manager.
Configure and optimizeGoogle Analytics 4properties for both web and mobile applications.
Assess and minimize the impact of tags onwebsite performanceand loading speed.
Collaborate with marketing, product, and development teams to gather tracking requirements.
Communicate with stakeholders to understand business goals and measurement needs.
Build dashboards and customized reports in GA4 and Looker Studio.
Conduct analytics audits to ensure accurate data collection and reporting.
Present insights and recommendations in a clear, business-friendly manner.
Define tagging strategies and measurement frameworks to ensure accurate tracking.
Identify opportunities to improve processes, methodologies, and analytical approaches.
Manage and govern the use of Google tools such as GA4, GTM, Google Ads, Search Console, Firebase, BigQuery, and others.
Profile
More than 4 years of experience in a similar role.
Strong ability to configure and optimize analytics tools.
Proven experience withGoogle Tag Manager.
Experience working with agencies, vendors, affiliates, and external partners.
Solid understanding ofGDPRand its implications for data collection.
Knowledge of how tags impact website performance (Page Load).
Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Proficiency inPortugueseandEnglish(reading, writing, speaking).
Valued experience:
Other analytics platforms (Adobe, Piwik, Matomo).
Advertising platforms (Google Ads, Meta Ads, TikTok, LinkedIn).
CMPs such as OneTrust or Cookiebot.
Looker Studio reporting.
Core Web Vitals analysis.
Web languages: HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
