Design, develop, and maintain automated test cases using CAPL (Vector environment).
Adapt and extend existing test cases provided by third parties (for example CARIAD) to meet project-specific requirements.Develop and maintain test automation frameworks for ECU and gateway testing.Perform automated testing for UDS diagnostics and network communication (CAN/CAN-FD).
Work with Vector tools such as CANoe and CANalyzer for test execution and analysis.Ensure high timing accuracy (millisecond-level precision) in automated test execution.Support testing activities across ECU integration and system validation phases.Analyze test results, identify defects, and support root cause analysis.Collaborate with cross-functional teams (development, testing, integration).
Ensure traceability between requirements, test cases, and test results.What requirements are we looking for?
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, Embedded Systems, Mechatronics or a related technical field.3+ years of experience in automotive test automation.Strong hands-on experience with CAPL (mandatory).
Proven experience with Vector tools (CANoe, CANalyzer).
Experience in automotive ECU testing, ideally with gateway ECUs.Solid understanding of UDS (ISO *****) and CAN/CAN-FD communication and Ethernet protocols;
knowledge of other automotive protocols such as XCP is a plus.Experience in developing or maintaining test automation frameworks.Good programming/scripting mindset (CAPL, Python, or C is a plus).
Experience with debugging and analyzing communication logs.Good understanding of automotive architecture, ECU networking, and bus communications.Familiarity with test management and defect tracking tools.Preferred SkillsExperience working with gateway ECUs and complex in-vehicle networks.Knowledge of automotive software development processes (ASPICE, ISO *****).
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated test execution.Familiarity with additional protocols (LIN, Ethernet).
