### PostgreSQL Database Engineer (OpenShift) m/f - PortoSysmatch is a Portuguese company that has been on the IT market for almost 20 years. Our core business is IT Outsourcing and Software Development for the finance sector. We invest a lot of effort on our client relationships and always deliver the best candidate or product available for their need and that is the main reason behind our success!At the moment we are looking for the following candidate:PostgreSQL Database Engineer (OpenShift) m/f - PortoHybrid (4 days per week on site)- Goals and deliverables• Deploy, manage, and optimize PostgreSQL workloads running on OpenShift (stateful workloads, persistent storage, scheduling)• Design and maintain backup/restore pipelines, data replication, and HA/DR strategies for PostgreSQL on OpenShift• Support the migration to a new OpenShift infrastructure• Develop and maintain automation using Ansible (the team's primary automation platform) and other IaC tooling• Monitor and troubleshoot database and cluster performance• Enforce Kubernetes and database security standards: RBAC, encryption, secrets management, network policies• Participate in Saturday maintenance windows and on-call rotations (approximately one week per month, covering all database engines managed by the team)• Collaborate with DevOps, Platform Engineering, and Development teams• Support additional database engines (Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, Redshift) during on-call coverage as neededExperience Required• Proven production-grade experience managing PostgreSQL at DBA level: performance tuning, backup/restore, replication, HA/DR• Hands-on experience with OpenShift in operational environments (not just generic Kubernetes)• Practical Ansible experience: playbook creation and maintenance in a team automation context• Familiarity with Kubernetes security practices: RBAC, secrets management, network policies, encryption• Experience working in shift-based or on-call operational models• Ability to work autonomously and communicate effectively at both technical and business levelsWhat we offer:- Salary classification according to the experience shown;- Good working environment with young and dynamic teams;- Integration into exciting and technologically innovative projects;- Training plan and opportunitiesAnnual Gross Salary: 30.000€ - 40.000€ + Other BenefitsTo respond to this opportunity, please send us your CV, indicating the reference RS/PDB/L to the following email address emprego@sysmatch.com #J-18808-Ljbffr
