We are looking for a Global IT Specialist to join our global team!
RESPONSIBILITIES Administer and maintain the server infrastructure, including physical and virtual servers, to ensure optimal performance and availability.
Monitor server health and resource utilization, proactively identifying and resolving potential issues to prevent downtime.
Manage and maintain the organization's network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
Monitor network performance, bandwidth usage, and security logs, implementing necessary optimizations and upgrades.
Oversee and support the deployment, configuration, and integration of applications and services across the organization.
Provide expert-level support to resolve complex technical issues related to servers, network systems, and cloud applications for global users.
Escalate issues and collaborate with other IT teams and vendors when necessary to ensure prompt resolution.
Create comprehensive technical documentation, including network diagrams, configurations, and troubleshooting guides, to facilitate knowledge sharing and support global IT operations.
Identify opportunities to optimize server, network, and cloud application performance, enhancing efficiency and reducing costs where possible.
Participate in implementation projects and system upgrades, ensuring a smooth transition with minimal disruption to business operations.
Evaluate and test new IT tools and technologies, making recommendations for enhancements when appropriate.
Conduct user training sessions and prepare instructional materials to improve end-user knowledge and proficiency in IT systems.
Collaborate with the IT team to share knowledge and best practices for continuous improvement.
QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
Proven experience as an IT Specialist, with expertise in server, network, and cloud application management in a global environment.
Strong knowledge of server administration, network protocols, security principles, and cloud computing technologies.
Familiarity with disaster recovery planning and business continuity best practices.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills for tackling complex technical challenges
