This is a highly strategic role, with end-to-end responsibility for defining the vision, scaling performance and building a best-in-class digital ecosystem across owned and third-party platforms.
Description
Lead and execute the overall E-commerce and Digital strategy, with a strong focus on growth, performance and scalability;
Own and continuously optimise the direct-to-consumer e-commerce platform (Shopify), the core online sales channel;
Accelerate the development of marketplaces, with particular emphasis on Amazon, identifying expansion and optimisation opportunities;
Develop and scale the Digital B2B channel, including online wholesale and partnerships with selected retail players.
Manage relationships with international media and digital agencies, ensuring data-driven decision-making, strong performance and efficient media investment;
Analyse, optimise and evolve the customer journey, maximising conversion, engagement and retention;
Define the future roadmap for digital channels, identifying innovation opportunities, new initiatives and continuous improvements;
Lead, mentor and develop a small in-house digital team across e-commerce and marketplaces;
Play a key role in negotiations with marketplaces, suppliers and strategic partners.
Profile
Strong experience in E-commerce, Digital Strategy and Marketplaces, with solid exposure to Amazon;
Proven track record in scaling online businesses, with a strong analytical and performance-driven mindset;
Hands-on experience with Shopify and the wider digital ecosystem;
Background in Retail or Consumer Goods is highly desirable;
Comfortable managing and challenging performance, media and digital agencies, with a clear focus on ROI;
Previous people management experience;
Autonomous, hands-on and strategic profile, with a clear growth-oriented mindset.
