About The Job

- The Operational Trainer is responsible for preparing and delivering operational training (beginner and proficient) for operational teams on their activity. The Operational Trainer must ensure that knowledge is passed in a consistent way using specific tools and methodologies.
- The Portugal Private Credit Center of Expertise team is part of the wider Loan Solutions team within the Alternative Investors (AI) client line, working in collaboration with the Private Capital teams.

Loan Solutions is engaged in delivering products and solutions to asset manager and asset owner clients investing in private credit (corporate loans), infrastructure debt, and real estate debt. The main services delivered by the Portugal Private Credit Center of Excellence team are:

- Loan administration
- Collateral administration
- Middle office services
- Depositary functions (record keeping, cash processing) – where relevant
- Loan trade closing – where relevant

The Team Manager will lead several teams within PCCE to ensure service delivery, monitor results, control KPIs, and oversee risk and quality, while fostering staff development.

Your main activities include:

- Delivering training sessions with proper preparation and follow-up
- Improving existing training content and formats based on feedback
- Developing new training formats (classroom, remote, self-service) for current and new programs
- Developing expertise in training tools such as PowerPoint, Klaxoon, and communication tools
- Supporting training projects and staff learning paths
- Preparing KPI reports or presentations related to the activity

Profile and skills for success:

- Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, or Accounting
- 3-4 years of relevant experience in banking and financial operations
- Fluent (C1-C2) in English
- Ability to share and pass on knowledge
- Good communication skills (oral and written)
- Creativity, innovation, problem-solving skills
- Organizational skills
- Custody knowledge
- Proficiency in Office applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint
