Working closely with our data science and product teams, you’ll help automate and optimize the full forecasting lifecycle—from raw data ingestion to actionable results. Fullstack skills are a plus, allowing you to support lightweight frontend tools when needed.What You’ll DoBuild and manage orchestration workflows (e.g. Airflow, Prefect)Develop backend services for ingesting, processing, and delivering forecastsMonitor pipeline health and job performance; handle errors and retries proactivelyWork with data scientists to integrate and scale forecasting models in productionSupport internal tools and dashboards, optionally contributing frontend componentsImplement auditability, logging, versioning, and performance monitoringImprove and automate repetitive data handling and reporting tasksContribute to architectural decisions as we scale our infrastructureWhat We’re Looking For5 years of backend engineering or data infrastructure experienceProficient in Python, with experience in orchestration tools like Airflow or PrefectFamiliar with API frameworks (FastAPI, Flask), SQL databases, and cloud storage (GCS/S3)Strong problem-solving mindset and ability to work autonomouslyExcellent communication skills in EnglishBonus: exposure to frontend frameworks (React, Vue, etc.)Bonus: experience in supply chain, manufacturing, or forecasting domainsWhat We Offer The chance to shape the future of how companies plan and forecast A high-performance, founder-led team and fast-paced startup culture Competitive salary with potential equity upside Flexible working setup Opportunity to grow into a team lead role as we scale
