We are seeking a proactive and customer-focused QA Automation Engineer to join our team.
In this role, the consultant will analyze business requirements and ensure that processes can be automated through reliable and efficient automated tests. The consultant will work closely with developers, business analysts, and application support teams, collaborating in an agile environment to deliver high-quality solutions across multiple business areas.
Key Responsibilities:
* Define and implement test strategies for projects.
* Enhance and maintain test practices to improve project quality.
* Collaborate with business analysts to define test cases and acceptance criteria.
* Execute, validate, and continuously improve automated and non-regression tests.
* Use automation testing tools and frameworks, such as Katalon, Cucumber/Gherkin.
* Support infrastructure maintenance and CI/CD tools, including Windows Server, Jenkins, and Git.
* Document test processes and results clearly for team visibility.
* Collaborate effectively across multiple IT teams and international locations.
Required Qualifications:
* Previous experience in test automation or software development.
* Proficiency in Java, SQL, Git, and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, BitBucket).
* Experience with Windows, Web UI, HTML, CSS, Chrome Driver, and Batch processes.
* Familiarity with QA tools such as Katalon, Cucumber/Gherkin, and JIRA/Xray.
* Knowledge of Rest APIs and database systems (SGBD).
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Agile mindset with the ability to work independently and in a team.
* Excellent communication skills to collaborate across different IT squads.
Nice to Have:
* Exposure to ITIL processes.
* Command-line proficiency.
* Knowledge of Windows Server administration and driver management.
