Senior Lead Cost Manager – Data Centre
We are recruiting for an experienced Senior Lead Cost Manager to join our Data Centre team in Lisbon.ResponsibilitiesAct as the primary cost management liaison with client and other project stakeholdersResponsibility for pre and post‐contract duties including preparation of cost estimates, procurement and tendering, contract administration, variation, final account, pleting feasibility studies and writing procurement reportsEstimating and cost planning to include producing and presenting the final cost planTendering and procurement activity, including managing the pre‐qualification stage, producing the tender list, preliminaries, tender analysis, tender report and compiling the contractual documentsTaking responsibility for timely and accurate cost checks and valuationsProducing monthly post contract cost reports and presenting them to the clientInterfacing with the client and other consultants at all project stagesParticipating effectively with post contract cost variances and the change control processesPerform cost risk analysis and provide input into value engineering; negotiate and approve final accountsMaintain central feedback and learning on cost estimating from prospects and projects and contribute to updating of best practices in estimatingQualificationsA degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Construction Management, or a closely related field+7 years of experience leading cost management activities on medium to large Data Centre projects with medium to high complexitySolid exposure to MEP and CSA packagesSkilled in advising clients on value management, value engineering, and life‐cycle costingSolid understanding of key technical aspects of the construction industry, including various procurement routes, value management, and value engineeringExcellent presentation, verbal, written, and overall communication skillsStrong organizational abilities, with the capacity to multitask and collaborate effectively as part of a teamProficiency in Portuguese and EnglishAdditional Information
