Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Aerospace Engineer based in Torres Vedras. The Aerospace Engineer will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and optimizing UAV components and systems, including aerodynamics, propulsion, avionics, and structural performance. Daily tasks involve collaborating with cross-functional teams, conducting simulations, creating prototypes, and overseeing the testing and validation of UAV platforms. Additionally, the engineer will work on continuous product improvement and providing support for mission-specific customizations.
Qualifications
* Proficient knowledge of Aerodynamics and Aerospace Engineering principles
* Experience in Systems Engineering and integration of various aerospace components
* Expertise in designing and working with aircraft and spacecraft systems
* Strong ability to conduct simulations, analysis, and testing in aerospace applications
* A bachelor's degree or higher in Aerospace Engineering or a related field
* Proficiency in industry-standard CAD and simulation tools, such as MATLAB, CATIA, or ANSYS
* Excellent problem-solving, analytical thinking, and team collaboration skills
* Familiarity with unmanned aerial systems (UAS) technologies is a plus
* Knowledge of regulatory requirements and safety standards in aerospace is a bonus
