Job Title: Property/Short-Term Rental Operations Manager
Employment Type: Full-Time
About the Role
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our short-term rental properties. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth operations across all aspects of the business, including check-ins and check-outs, cleaning and laundry coordination, reservations management, and pricing optimization.
Key Responsibilities
Guest Management:
• Oversee and coordinate check-in and check-out processes to ensure a seamless guest experience.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest inquiries, concerns, or issues promptly and professionally.
• Maintain and enhance guest satisfaction through attention to detail and a focus on quality.
Cleaning & Maintenance:
• Manage the scheduling and quality control of cleaning and laundry services to maintain high property standards.
• Conduct routine inspections of properties to ensure cleanliness, maintenance, and readiness for new guests.
• Coordinate with maintenance teams to address and resolve any repair or upkeep issues.
Reservations & Revenue Management:
• Manage booking platforms and systems, ensuring accurate and up-to-date listings across all channels (e.g., Airbnb, Booking.com, direct website).
• Monitor and optimize property pricing strategies to maximize occupancy and revenue, based on market trends and seasonal demand.
• Handle reservation inquiries and ensure efficient calendar management to avoid double bookings.
Operational Coordination:
• Develop and implement standard operating procedures to streamline day-to-day operations.
• Manage and train a team of cleaning staff, contractors, or external vendors to deliver consistent results.
• Track inventory of supplies (e.g., toiletries, linens) and restock as needed.
Requirements:
• Proven experience in property management, short-term rentals, or hospitality operations.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize.
• Proficiency in property management systems and booking platforms (e.g., Airbnb, Booking.com, Guesty).
• Knowledge of dynamic pricing tools is a plus (e.g., Beyond Pricing, Pricelabs).
• Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills.
• Availability to handle occasional emergencies outside of standard hours.
• Attention to detail and a focus on delivering high-quality guest experiences.
