Operations Manager Role
This role is open to candidates across EMEA and offers remote work opportunities.
We are seeking a system-oriented Operations Manager who will be responsible for building our company's operating system. This includes designing simple, reliable processes with clear owners and SLAs, lightweight automations, and dashboards/alerts.
Key Responsibilities:
* Own one process at a time, starting with Customer Support.
* Identify friction points in existing processes.
* Redesign workflows to reduce steps, clarify ownership, and implement standard work.
* Launch and enable new processes through onboarding, checklists/templates, and the right tooling and coverage.
* Measure weekly progress and correct drift.
As you repeat this cycle and hit targets, your scope expands across replenishment, returns, listings, supply chain, and vendors. You'll work directly with the founder with real autonomy, budget, and tools to make meaningful improvements.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
1. Map workflows, set KPIs, and design improvements.
2. Implement durable systems and controls and ensure documentation and training happen with the team.
3. Lead sprints, stand-ups, weekly reviews, retros, and Go / No-Go checkpoints.
4. Turn data into action.
5. Hire, onboard, and schedule new freelancers/collaborators.
6. Coordinate with marketing, finance, 3PLs & suppliers; negotiate and monitor SLAs.
Mandatory Skills and Qualifications:
* Operations mindset: stability, efficiency, systems thinking.
* Workflow design: turn chaos into clear steps; guide others in SOP creation.
* Data literacy: formulas, charts, and data-driven decisions.
* Change management: training, enforcing SLAs, preventing process decay.
* Quality & compliance: spot risks and define rollback plans.
* Tooling: Asana (or ClickUp/Monday) admin—custom fields, rules, cross-functional projects.
Nice to Have:
* Amazon Seller Central experience (FBA, account management).
* Basic P&L understanding (revenue, COGS, margin impact).
* Process-mapping tools (Miro, Lucid).
