Job Title:Procurement SpecialistLocation:Porto, Portugal Contract Type:Permanent Contract | Full-timeResponsibilitiesManage the full Procurement process, ensuring competitive costs, reliable deliveries, and strong Vendor performance.Build and maintain effective, long-term Vendor relationships, based on transparency, trust, and operational stability.Negotiate, manage and ensure compliance with Vendor contracts, including pricing agreements, service levels, confidentiality clauses, and Organization / regulatory requirements, in coordination with Legal and internal stakeholders.Monitor performance indicators (KPIs) related to Procurement activities, identifying opportunities for improvement and taking corrective measures, when necessary.Collaborate closely with the Planning and Warehouse & Logistics Teams to ensure timely material availability, minimizing the risk of shortages and preventing excess inventory.Collaborate closely with Engineering Team on technical discussions, specifications, new component sourcing, and change management (ECR/ECN).Collaborate closely with Quality Team to manage Non-Conformities, claims, PPAP documentation, Vendor requirements and improvement initiatives.Support inventory optimization by reviewing MOQs, Lead Times, and safety stock parameters.Maintain accurate and updated data in the ERP system (pricing, lead times, Vendor information, purchasing terms).Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, by identifying inefficiencies and supporting improvement implementation.Prepare and provide procurement insights and reports to support informed decision-making.QualificationsProven experience in Procurement, Supply Chain, or related operations (minimum 3–5 years preferred).Proficiency with ERP systems, ideally Microsoft Dynamics Business Central, SAP, or similar platforms.Analytical and digital skills highly valued; proficiency in tools such as Excel, Power BI, PowerApps, or similar is a plus.Knowledge of inventory management principles and their impact on purchasing decisions.Strong understanding of Procurement best practices, including Vendor selection, negotiation, contract management, and cost optimization.Experience managing Vendor relationships, including performance monitoring, issue resolution, and service-level improvement.Ability to lead cross-functional collaboration with several Teams, ensuring material availability and cost efficiency.Highly autonomous and critically minded, with a strong drive for continuous improvement.Flexible and open to change, committed to design and implement innovative Procurement processes and strategies.Ability to work under pressure, prioritize effectively, and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.Fluent English (spoken and written) is mandatory; additional languages are an advantage.BenefitsPermanent full-time contractCompetitive salary and attractive benefits packageExcellent company culture and work environmentTraining and development opportunitiesEqual Opportunity Employer.
